A blue and white large 'dame au parasol' charger
1736-1738
Designed with 'La Dame au Parasol' by the Dutch draughtsman Cornelis Pronk, the central scene depicting an attendant carrying a parasol fringed by tassels above a lady standing before waterfowl on a grassy bank with reeds, within a narrow band of flower stems, the deep sides surrounded by a honeycomb pattern ground reserved with shaped cartouches of waterfowl and ladies, the reverse with various insects in underglaze blue, broken and repaired

Special notice
