The inner medallion and rounded sides painted with iron-red, yellow and green carp among underglaze-blue and enamelled waterweeds, all between double-line borders, repeated on the reverse, the base with the private hallmark zai chuan zhi le (rejoicing in the stream) within a double square, minor glaze frits
