A Tibetan thang.ka depicting Guhyasamaja
18th century
Guhyasamaja is seated in vajrasana on a lotus pericarp placed on a throne, both principle hands are holding the almsbowl, the others are radiating around his red body, wearing dhoti, bejewelled, his face with serene expression, the upper section with manifestations of the five tathagatas and Samantabhadra and the lower border with two forms of Mahakala, in brocate mounting
65 x 43 cm.
