A rosewood, walnut and floral marquetry cabinet,
late 17th century and later
decorated overall with meandering floral stems and flower-filled urns with ebonised mouldings, crossbanding and line decoration, the moulded cornice above a long drawer with two panelled doors below opening to reveal an oyster-veneered interior decorated with rosewood and ebony stellar marquetry with a bank of twelve drawers about a cupboard door, enclosing ten further drawers, the lower section with four long drawers, the top drawer later adapted as a secretaire, with a fall front, on later flattened bun feet, the ring handles with painted enamel backplates depicting various female portrait medallions
