lithograph in black and bistre, 1946, on wove paper, a rare proof impression of the eighth state (of 18) with the second stone printed in bistre (Mourlot incorrectly calls this the fifth state), there were only two recorded proofs in the eighth state with the bistre stone (there were also 19 trial proofs in this state in black and a signed and numbered edition of 50 in the final state), the full sheet, images by another hand lithographically printed on the reverse, minor surface soiling, otherwise in good condition, framed
