The serpentine shaped red griotte marble top above a pierced and C-scroll and acanthus carved frieze with a central trophy of a flaming torch and quiver of arrows, the emblems of love, on cabochon-carved cabriole legs joined by a similarly carved pierced stretcher and a central pierced support, with a paper label printed 'GARDE-MEUBLE PUBLIQUE Bedel & Cie. No. 2050 Rue Nve. St. Augustin 65', with repairs and notches cut from rear corners of marble
