ONE STAMPED 'M.DLP', CIRCA 1740
Each with an arched floral-carved crest rail, outscrolled arms and a similarly-carved serpentine seat rail, on cabriole legs ending in vine and acanthus-carved feet, both the backs and seats covered in 18th century Aubusson tapestry with four different central scenes of pairs of animals, one inscribed in graphite 'No. 7' and the other inscribed in graphite 'No. 8' and with two paper labels inscribed 'Drawing Room #12' (2)
