Of Régence style, the molded rectangular Sarrancolin marble top above a pierced C-scroll and acanthus carved frieze with a central relief of a man, possibly Hercules with a lion skin, within a cartouche, on term-carved and scrolled legs terminating in hoof feet and joined by a scrolling stretcher, with remains of paper label inscribed '278'
