hand-colored engraving with etching and aquatint, on J Whatman Turkey Mill dated 1827, with wide margins, minor surface soiling, a 2-in. yellow stain in the left of the plate, a few very pale, unobtrusive foxmarks, a 5/8-in. repaire tear at the center lower margin edge, a ½-in. tear at the upper left margin edge, a 1-in. vertical crease at the lower left margin corner, soft handling creases, otherwise in good condition
