COLLECTION PRIVEE FRANCAISE A la fin des années 1958, dans le cadre d'une vente au profit du Centre de Protection de L'Enfance, certains artistes dont Jean-Michel Atlan, Jean Cocteau, Bernard Buffet, Léonor Fini et Georges Mathieu vont entièrement peindre des frigidaires. Les présentes oeuvres (lots 170 à 173) sont des panneaux peints par Jean Carzou. Ceux-ci furent ensuite découpés pour être encadrés. At the end of 1958, in the context of a charity sale for the Profit of The Protection of Childhood, a number of artists, including Jean-Michel Atlan, Jean Cocteau, Bernard Buffet, Léonor Fini and Georges Mathieu, decorated refrigerators for the auction. The following ensemble (lots 173-176) are the panels painted by Jean Carzou. Following the auction, the panels were separated and framed.
