carved with panels of foliage, diamonds and roundels and hung with red floral patterned fabric, the headboard carved with Gothic tracery panels, three carved with various coats of arms, the central panel dated 1604, above a central panel carved with a cartouche centred with a lion's mask flanked by arcaded foliate carved panels, all within caryatid-carved uprights, the two cotton-covered carved front posts profusely decorated with foliage, on square section supports joined by side rails, includes box-spring and mattress
