Tasting Note: Low Yield, 19.83hl/ha, producing 1160 cases, two-thirds of the average. Medium-deep, plumy colour, pale mauve rim; when first poured fragrant, spicy then a touch of immature stalkiness, fragrance returning and after 90 minutes gorgeous. Distinctly sweet medium- full body, good flesh, very pleasant fruit, fair finesse, touch of bitterness on the finish. Oct 2001 (****). M.B.
