A MILITARY WHEEL-LOCK HOLSTER PISTOL, DUTCH OR GERMAN

With three-stage barrel struck with maker's mark 'L.B' (Neue Støckel 3726) beneath an orb mark on the breech, plain strongly bevelled flat lock retained by two side-nails (one replaced), also struck with maker's mark 'L.B', fitted with external wheel stamped 'S' (for gespannen) and sliding pan-cover, full stock, flattened butt with an iron band around the pommel, iron trigger-guard, ramrod-pipe and fore-end cap, and original iron-tipped ramrod.
