Late 18th Century
in bore, cast with stepped narrow astragals and rings throughout, moulded muzzle and base, raised vent field, button cascable, the trunnions fitted with a later pair of iron pulley wheels, and the first reinforce with large silver presentation plaque.

The inscription reads: 'This Cannon was abandoned at Perth in the year 1746 by the retreating army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, Presented by Sir Hubert Jerningham', and enclosed by the motto: 'Non Ego Nec Teucris Italos Parere Jubebo'.
