A LEFT-HAND DAGGER
Early 17th Century
With strongly formed tapering blade of hollow-diamond section, fluted ricasso punched with a series of decorative dots and lines and the inside flattened for the thumb, iron hilt of slender faceted bars, globular pommel, and spirally moulded wire-bound grip retaining one 'Turk's head', in an 18th Century iron-mounted fabric-covered scabbard.
