A RARE COMBINED WHEEL-LOCK SPANNER, TURNSCREW AND STILETTO
Second quarter of the 17th Century, probably South German
Made entirely of steel, with moulded octagonal head formed with two spindle apertures of differing sizes, moulded octagonal neck extending to form a stiletto blade of square section and incorporating a spring-catch for locking the scabbard, the latter with turnscrew blade at the bottom and turning suspension ring projecting at right angles to the blade.
