A FINE PAIR OF FRENCH FLINTLOCK POCKET PISTOLS BY BOUTET, DIRECTEUR ARTISTE MANUFRE À VERSAILLES

With turn-off barrels with chamfered muzzles engraved with a band of beadwork and with a band of foliage over the joint with the breeches, engraved beaded box-lock actions signed within compressed octagonal panels on both sides (one top jaw replaced), sliding stud safety-catches also locking the steels, folding triggers incorporated into an engraved design involving a flaming torch, and chequered figured walnut butts carved in relief with a beaded line over the butts.
