A celadon Ming-style pear-shaped vase, 19th century
Moulded with a stylised chrysanthemum band with the lobed petals left unglazed, beneath scrolling foliage, the two-sectioned waisted neck rising to the galleried rim with fish handles holding integrally modelled rings, the glaze running short of the footrim -- 9 7/8 in. (25 cm.) high.

Purchased Sotheby's, 14 December 1982.
