Two similar famille rose 'Batavia ware' bowls and covers, Yongzheng/early Qianlong
The bowls with cylindrical sides, the domed covers with dish-shaped finial, one bowl and both covers reserved with leaf-shaped panels enclosing floral sprays, the other bowl with similar quatrefoil-shaped panels, all reserved on lustrous café-au-lait grounds -- maximum 5¾ in. (14.5 cm.) high. (2)
