Shiy De Jinn, a pottery jug and beaker
The jug of tapering shape, with a black-silvery gun-metal mottled glaze on the exterior, with a cameo decoration on biscuit ground enclosing two equestrian figures, incised Shiy De Jinn Ke and Yong Sheng ("engraved by Shiy De Jinn" and "live forever"); the beaker, of tapering form and similarly decorated, but with lavender splashes around the rim, incised Shiy Ke ("engraved by Shiy") -- maximum 8¼ in. (20.8 cm.) high. (2)
