Shiy De Jinn vase, 1952-1962
Of compressed straight sided form between the spread foot and the waisted neck and slightly flared rim, covered on the exterior with mottled black-greenish glaze, the register decorated on biscuit ground with an envoy comprising equestrian figures, chariots and footmen, incised Shiy De Jinn Ke and Yong Sheng ("engraved by Shiy De Jinn" and "live forever") -- 7 7/8 in. (20 cm.) high.
