(Very occasional light scattered spotting or even browning). Original green quarter-leather and textured cloth, spine and front cover gilt-lettered, front cover blocked in gilt, top edge gilt, others rough-trimmed (very light rubbing).
FIRST EDITION, ONE OF 50 NUMBERED COPIES (this one number 17) of this memorial volume published at the time of the removal of the University from the High Street to Gilmorehill. According to the National Library of Scotland catalogue the more common edition of 350 copies of the same date is in fact a second, revised edition. A very good copy of a sumptuous publication. ABPC RECORDS NO COPY SELLING AT AUCTION SINCE 1975. Not in Roosens and Salu.
