FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST BOOK PUBLISHED BY THE GERIBARA 5, a small avant-garde group including Araki formed after the dissolution of Provoke. Toilet 'may be regarded as either a brilliant post-Duchampian exercise in neo-Dada camp, or a schoolboy scatological joke - or both' (The Photobook). The Photobook, p.296 ('three books that are ALMOST AS SOUGHT AFTER BY COLLECTORS AS THE THREE ISSUES OF PROVOKE').
