Original black cloth, spine and sides blocked in white, original dust-jacket, original cardboard slipcase, spine with printed label overlapping onto sides (upper side of slipcase with Hosoe's name in ink). Provenance: Hosoe's inscription facing title (in pencil, dated 'April 15, 1977').

FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED BY HOSOE. A very good copy of this distinctive collection of nudes, printed in Hosoe's trademark rich photogravure, and characterized by his 'elegant and precise sense of form' (The Photobook). Preface by Yukio Mishima. Cf. The Photobook, p.278 (for Man and Woman).
