Original grey linen, spine and front cover blocked in blue, original textured dust-jacket (damp-stain on top edge, dust-jacket with faint damp-stain on spine and light scattered spotting). Provenance: Ellen and Gerry Waller (inscription on title from Van der Keuken, dated 16 June 1968).

A classic photobook about the French capital, in the stream-of consciousness tradition of William Klein, concerned with 'burrying the myth of romantic, timeless, immortal Paris' (The Photobook). The Open Book, pp.196-97; The Photobook, pp.248-49 (published 'as a promotional vehicle, and therefore not in any great numbers').
