AN EXCEPTIONAL JADEITE PEPPER AND DIAMOND PENDANT
The thick, very fine-textured and highly translucent material of vivid emerald green colour, well carved as a pepper with trailing tendrils and a bat clinging to one side, representing the rebus 'zhao fu' or 'welcoming good fortune', to the diamond surmount and hoop, mounted in 18k white gold, pepper approximately 47.50 x 21.95 x 14.48 mm
With certificate no. JC 33383 dated 28 March 2006 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the pepper is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
