With quartz movement, the dial inlaid with mother-of-pearl panels in a starburst motif, decorative hands, the circular case with diamond-set bezel, faceted crystal, embedded in a bulb-shaped case lavishly decorated with mother-of-pearl and lapis lazuli panels, to a fluted blue agate finial, swivelling to reveal a gold filigree disc with mother-of-pearl inlay and cabochon garnet centre on the reverse, seated upon a jasper and gold hull flanked by two finely crafted gold elephants with lapis lazuli and diamond-set detail and mother-of-pearl tusks frolicking on a riverbed of mother-of-pearl panels, to the jasper and gold pedestal on six ball feet embellished with a ruby cabochon, dial signed
