Cal. 17QR, nickel-finished lever movement, 29 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, micrometer regulator, minute repeating on two gongs, the sky blue guilloché enamel dial with diamond-set numerals, three silvered subsidiary dials indicating day combined with 24 hour indication, date with constant seconds and month with leap year indication, sector for phases of the moon, in large circular case with royal blue champlevé enamel bezel, the reverse, repeating slide in band and band lavishly engraved with scroll motifs, to the similarly decorated bow, case, dial and movement signed
54 mm. diam.

This watch is accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch in 1980 and its subsequent sale on 22 May 1981 and an elaborate Patek Philippe 18k gold and enamel stand in a fitted traveling case.

This watch first appeared at auction in the The Art of Patek Philippe sale in 1989, where it was sold for SFr150,000 hammer.
