Circa 1755/60, possibly Furstenberg or Meissen
The top four sides and bottom painted with scenes of a traveller and his family within purple and yellow rocaille-molded cartouches and surrounded by scattered flowers, the interior of the cover with a soldier taking leave of his family, the mounts chased with flowers and shells
