PROBABLY MEISSEN, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Of globular form with domed cover, moulded overall in the Sulkowski pattern, both pieces pierced and applied overall with trailing fruiting vine, the cover finial as an organgrinder's monkey wearing a conical hat, ruff collar, jacket and breeches, seated eating a bunch of grapes, holding a second bunch atop his head, a moustache on his face

Lot Essay
