A TERRACOTTA GROUP OF VENUS AND CUPID
LATE 18TH CENTURY
With Venus on a rockwork ground and clutching a loose drapery to her chest and cupid seated at her feet with a quiver of arrows and bow on the ground and holding a dove and another dove in between his legs, on a later faux-marble painted grey and giltwood fluted plinth base, together with a later glass case with a wooden base, the underside to the base of terracotta inscribed '60' and stamped '39004', the underside to base of vitrine inscribed '5697'
