A FAVRILE GLASS MOSAIC AND BRONZE PLANTER, CIRCA 1910

This planter descended in the family of Walter Shubert of Baldwin, New York. He was the superintendent of schools in Baldwin in the early twentieth century and Shubert Elementary School, which still exists, was named in his honor.
