with grey and pastel yellow feather plumage, possibly from a Willow Warbler, moving head, beak and tail feather to 1-2-3 paulsed sequence, on brass perch dressed with silk flowers and leaves, circular domed cage with door, on octagonal gilt and gesso base with swags in relief and start/stop lever from underside, keywind, Bontems circa 1900, on a slightly later brass birdcage stand with shaped tubular top, on adjustable central support and slender tripod legs -the cage 22in. (56cm) high, the stand fully extended, 69in. (175.2cm) high
