A SUITE OF RUBY AND DIAMOND JEWELRY
Comprising a necklace, the front designed as a series of rose and single-cut diamond swags, each suspending an oval-cut ruby and rose-cut diamond cluster, to the rose-cut diamond chain; and a pair of ear pendants en suite, mounted in 18k oxidized white gold, necklace 15½ ins.
With report GRS2001-07162 dated 9 July 2001 from the GRS Gemresearch Swisslab stating that gemmological testing of the six rubies in the necklace revealed characteristics corresponding to those of six natural rubies from Burma (Myanmar) and there are no indications of thermal treatment
With report GRS2001-07252 dated 23 July 2001 from the GRS Gemresearch Swisslab stating that gemmological testing of three of the rubies in the ear pendants revealed characteristics corresponding to those of three natural rubies from Burma (Myanmar) and there are no indications of thermal treatment. And that the fourth ruby is enhanced by heat and minor residues are present (within fissures only) (2)
