Lot 94 one wrinkled label, two lightly torn labels. Lot 95 badly bin soiled and badly torn labels, labels adhered, nicked capsules
"In 'flight' two of Rodenstock's blind tasting of first growth '94s, '95s, '96s and '97s: medium deep, lovely colour, maturing; good nose, a bit stalky at first but a class act; sweeter than expected (I did not know it was Pétrus), good flavour, extract and assimilated tannin. It received the highest overall (average) mark though the level was remarkably uniform, only 2 points out of 100 separating them, mine being at the lower end. Tasted in Munich, March 2001 ***(**) 2006-2020." MB, Vintage Wine
