"This firm offers a strong line-up of grands crus from the Cote de Nuits. Completely closed and backward, the Chambertin-Clos de Beze reluctantly offers up aromas of black-cherries, new oak, and earth. In the mouth, there is a suggestion of opulence and weight, but the wine is tight, tannic, and in need of at least 4-6 years of cellaring. It should age well for 15 or more years."
