En bois laqué noir et laiton argenté, ouvrant par une porte sur l'un des côtés du pied, soutenant un plateau circulaire pivotant à gorge agrémenté d'un étroit plateau semi-circulaire débordant gainé de parchemin, reposant sur un piètement triangulaire et une base à ailette latérale en laiton argenté
Hauteur : 58 cm. (22 5/8 in.) ; Diamètre : 78.5 cm. (30 5/8 in.)

A BLACK LACQUERED, SILVERED BRASS AND VELLUM CIRCULAR GUERIDON BY PAUL DUPRE-LAFON, CIRCA 1929

Another example of this gueridon was featured in the hôtel particulier in the rue Rembrandt decorated by Dupré-Lafon in 1929-1931.

There exists a variant of this gueridon, with an identical base, but with a fixed rectangular top opening into an inner chamber by means of a flap.
This piece has been authenticated by the estate of Paul Dupré-Lafon.

Un exemplaire de ce modèle de guéridon meublait l'hôtel particulier de la rue Rembrandt, aménagé par Dupré Lafon en 1929-1931
Il existe une variante de ce guéridon, au piétement identique, le plateau rectangulaire fixe agrémenté d'une tablette découvrant un caisson.
Ce meuble a été authentifié par les ayant-droits de Paul Dupré- Lafon.
