German for the UK market, lithographed, character dressed in blue and red with white shirt and Eton collar, red tie, shorts, lips and spring-action tongue extending to collect coin, main body of bank in red, lettered 'Press the lever lightly, Watch my tongue appear, Save a penny nightly, Make your fortune here', 'Do not attempt to work model before removing toffees' and 'Lyons' Toffee, J.Lyons & Co., Ltd, London W.14', with sliding lid at top for coin retrieval --14cm. high, 1920s (F, some corrosion, some crumpling to edges of base)
