In addition to these very fine scent-bottles at least two other similar pairs with cut glass bodies made in the Moscow workshop are recorded. One pair with violet and white enamel covers, each with ruby finial and diamond set laurel garlands round the neck, marked Fabergé in full with Imperial warrant, circa 1890, and subsequently retailed by Tiffany, London, was in the collection of the late Elizabeth Arden, sold Christie's New York, 23 March 1983 lot 404 and resold at Christie's New York, 20 April 2001, lot 116. The other pair with light blue enamel covers, each with sapphire finial and applied laurel foliage, similarly marked and dated as the present examples, was sold by Christie's Geneva 20 November 1983, lot 292 and resold as part of the sale of Important Works of Art by Carl Fabergé from the Forbes Collection, Christie's 19 April 2002, lot 106.
