Circa 1780-1800, the sheep and cat perhaps Yorkshire
The pearlware cat recumbent to the right and sponged in blue with yellow markings on a green rectangular cushion; the creamware sheep with curly fleece splashed in ochre recumbent to the left, on a ribbed green-washed oval base; a creamware fox with brown and yellow splashes on a green-lined base; and a pearlware dog whistle to the right, his tail forming the whistle, splashed in brown and ochre; together with a pair of Staffordshire cats, circa 1860, modelled seated to the left and right, with brown and yellow flowered coats, on green-washed oval bases
