A scale waterline model of the S.S. Saga
the hull is built up in wood with a red waterline and black and white topsides with painted portholes and windows and the name painted on the bow and the stern. The decks at the bow of the model are painted grey and aft of the bridge are veneers with the planking lines drawn in India ink. The decks are detailed with chock, anchor windlass and chain, bollards, companionway, deck hatches, fore and aft masts riged with standing and running rigging, cargo booms, ventilators, deck railings, bridge and bridge wings, binnacle, funnel in Svenska Lloyd livery, lifeboats on davits, ladders and other details.Mounted on a green glass sea within a mahogany framed glass case.
