She married Maurice Swabey on 4 September 1783 in Barton on the Heath, Warwick and they had five children, one of whom served the British Army for 18 years and fought in the Battle of Copenhagen, in the Iberian Peninsula and at the Battle of Waterloo before emigrating to Prince Edward Island with his family.
