PALMA DE MALLORCA, CIRCA 1650, APPARENTLY NO MAKER'S MARK
The ewer of helmet shape on a spreading stepped foot, with a scroll handle, the spout cast with a grotesque mask, the basin circular with a central stepped platform to support the ewer, later engraved with a coat-of-arms, the back engraved 'B', marked near handle within assay scrape, on handle and with a differing town mark on back of basin
