The base circular with a fluted and reeded border, with a tapering stem with four scrolling brackets, each terminating in a vase shaped socket with a detachable nozzle, engraved with a crest and inscription, marked at rim, on central socket and on nozzles
19½ in. (49.5 cm.) high
The inscriptions reads 'FROM E.M.G. KEMMIS TO W. KEMMIS IN MEMORY OF THE BOER WAR 1900-1901' and '4TH BATT. THE KING'S OWN'.
