The steep flaring sides with slightly everted rim carved to the exterior with four medallions each comprising an archaistic writhing phoenix all above a band of twelve formal lappets, the glaze to the interior of pale blue tones, the footrim brown dressed
8 5/8 in. (22.0 cm.) diam.
