THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
The rounded rectangular top with D-shaped tilt-top end-sections, and central tilt-top pedestal, on ring turned gun barrel supports with reeded quadripartite downswept legs with brass caps and castors, the bearers of the end pedestals moved twice and two pedestals inscribed in pencil '1839', two associated leaves, eight brass clips, the leaves inscribed in chalk on the underside 'Norman Adams' the pedestals previously with bearers towards the outer edges, one end with veneered underside apparently original, the top reduced in size
