The rectangular crossbanded top enclosing four hinged flaps, opening outwards to become music stands, with hinged music rests and brass music holders, above two crossbanded doors enclosing a blank interior space previously with a shelf, on squared tapering legs with later brass caps and castors, a typed depository label to the reverse 'ARCHER COWLEY & CO. LTD.', inscribed 'NO. 5, ST. HILDA'S'
