One side with a bird flanked by a pair of confronting griffin-birds with sickle-shaped wings and fanning tail feathers; the other side with an owl flanked by similar monsters, the owl facing right, its head turned frontal; with a bird below each handle, another on each handle-plate, angled zigzags on the rim, details in added red
