One side with a youth striding to the right, depicted in profile, nude but for a chlamys draped over his left shoulder and held in his left hand at his shoulder, the left leg advanced, a staff in his outstretched right hand, a band in his hair, a Doric column behind, an inscription before him in added red, KALOS; the other side with a woman clad in a himation over a long chiton, a sakkos in her hair, striding to the right but looking back over her shoulder, a flaming torch in her raised left hand, her right arm extended behind, an inscription above in added red, KALE; both standing on a plain groundline
