Lifesized, likely depicting Aphrodite, her oval face with a rounded chin and slightly-parted lips, the lidded eyes drilled at their inner canthi, beneath modelled brows, her forehead peaked at the center, the wavy hair center parted, bound in a fillet and tied in a chignon at the nape of her neck

For two related marble heads, both in Paris, see nos. 394-395 in Delivorrias, et al., "Aphrodite" in LIMC. Both are classified as the type of the Aphrodite from Knidos by Praxiteles.
